Insert Literal Text

The Insert Token button on the Create panel makes it to insert literal text into the regular expression. See the Insert Token help topic for more details on how to build up a regular expression via this menu.

The Insert Token|Literal Text menu item pops up a dialog box that allows you to enter the text that your regular expression should match literally. RegexBuddy will add backslashes as needed to escape any metacharacters that you enter. Metacharacters are characters that have a special meaning in regular expressions.
